Terms of Service
Last updated 14 August 2026
These terms cover your use of YouthPay (also called “Bachat”). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What YouthPay is
YouthPay reads bank alert messages you provide and organises them into a spending picture, categories, budgets, savings goals and summaries. It is an informational tool.
It is not a bank and does not move money. It cannot make payments, transfers or withdrawals, and it never connects to your bank account. It only reads messages your bank has already sent you.
It is not financial advice. Insights, scores and recommendations in the app are automated observations about your own data, intended to build good habits. They are not professional financial, investment or tax advice. Decisions about your money remain yours.
Who can use it
YouthPay is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under the age at which you can agree to terms on your own where you live, please use it with a parent or guardian’s involvement.
Your account
Signing in is optional and passwordless: we email you a one-time link. Keep access to your email account secure, since anyone who can read your email can request a sign-in link. Tell us if you believe someone else has gained access to your account.
Accuracy of the information
The app reads alert messages automatically. Banks change their formats, alerts can be delayed or missing, and a message may be misread. This means:
- Your totals reflect only the alerts the app has seen, which may not be everything.
- A transaction may be categorised incorrectly, or missed entirely.
- Nothing in the app is a statement of your actual account balance.
Always treat your bank’s own records as the authoritative ones.
Family sharing
Sharing is opt-in, requires the teenager’s approval, and can be ended by them at any time. Do not share a family code with anyone you do not intend to give access to.
Acceptable use
- Use the app only for your own data, or data you are entitled to see.
- Do not attempt to access another person’s account or data.
- Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not use the app for anything unlawful.
Availability
The app is provided free of charge and as-is. We may change or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Please keep your own copies of anything important. You can export your transactions to a CSV file at any time.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, YouthPay is not liable for financial losses or other damages arising from your use of the app, including from missed, delayed or misread transactions. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app whenever you like. You can clear your local data from Me → Reset all data, disconnect Gmail at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and remove a linked parent from Me → Family.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change we will update the date at the top of this page.
